Nommie is a visual love letter to Austin's food, drink, and culture — the places that make a city taste like itself, and the people who make them happen. A documentary series in pre-production for a 2026 release.

Nommie doesn't have a host. It has a group of Austinites — people who know the city's food, drink, and culture through years of living it. We're looking for locals with real taste, real opinions, and real relationships to the places we'll be exploring together.

What we're looking for

  • Austinites with a deep connection to any one of: food, drink, music, film, arts, culture
  • People who know the city's neighborhoods and scenes firsthand
  • Comfortable on camera, or willing to become so
  • Curious. Generous. Willing to share what you know

You don't need to be

  • A food critic or industry professional
  • Trained on-camera talent
  • Famous or followed
